Emily has appeared on podcasts, hosted workshops and speaking events at festivals, schools and universities as a way to reach out to those who may be struggling with their mental health or want to increase their mental wellness.
By sharing her own experiences, knowledge and training she creates positive conversations about mental health as well as giving hope that there is life on the other side of recovery.
"I believe that everyone can better their own emotional and mental wellbeing if they are given the tools in which to do so."
Sessions can cover a range of topics which can be discussed beforehand.
"I believe that if I had someone standing in front of 14 year old me and talking about their own personal experience of an eating disorder and depression it may have helped me to ask for help sooner."

"I would like to start by saying thank you very much for the work you did with Cranford Community College and especially year 8 girls. I felt not only did your visit help the girls but I also felt inspired by our little chat and by what I see and heard during your session with ***.
Your frank and honest advice is a great help to the girls who not only benefit from this aspect of your talk but also your personal experiences in a difficult situation. I think your work would be an on-going help to youngsters and [schools] should definitely peruse this avenue of support."
